On February 3rd AT&T held a grand opening of their new flagship store design in Little Rock Arkansas. It was a rainy day but the rain stopped long enough for me to snap a few photos of the store’s exterior.

The new design has a very open layout and is a nice change for AT&T. This will be the design they will use for all future stores. The store incorporates a place for everything and is easy for everyone to navigate from your standard cell phone user all the way up to the totally addicted mobile device addict like me. Everything in the store is grouped into sections from the smartphones and their accessories to all the tablets. There is a good feel to the store. Everything was easy to find weather you’re looking for the new Jambox or a case for your iPad 2. The thing that impressed me most about the Grand opening was not the new store or all the cool accessories. When the head for Arkansas AT&T started to talk about the store, the first thing he discussed was the Arkansas Food Bank which helps to provide food to those families in need. I think it’s great when a big cooperation takes the time to prepare an event like this and puts the focus on a local charity. AT&T has done a lot for the local economy in Arkansas. They have invested 500 million dollars into the Arkansas telecommunication network which has created lots of local jobs for the residents of Arkansas.
